Nasty Ratz is a glam rock band based in Prague, Czech Republic. Known for their high-energy performances and rebellious spirit, they have garnered a loyal fanbase across Europe and beyond. The band’s previous albums, First Bite and Second Chance?, received critical acclaim and solidified their place in the glam rock scene.”
The band Nasty Ratz started in Prague (CZ), September 13th, 2012. The inspiration was pretty clear. Nasty Ratz are often described like a bastard baby of KISS and Guns N’ Roses. Needless to say, Nasty Ratz have always wanted to the music their way. It took only few months and Nasty Ratz played with their idols all around Europe.
Nasty Ratz were more than lucky to record their first EP I Don’t Wanna Care (Leviathan Records, 2013) with Serpenth (Belphegor) on the bass guitar. Serpenth also appeared on their Leipzig performance. The EP got sold out quickly and it’s stayed a rare piece at fans’ collections.
In May 2015, the band recorded a full-length album called First Bite, which was recorded from money of fans participating in a pledge campaign and the group signed a contract for two worldwide distributed albums with Sleaszy Rider Records.
