Wolfer

wolfer is an alternative/noise rock band from Bern, Switzerland, formed in 2020 by bassist Miriam Wolf and guitarist Julia Wolf, and later joined by drummer Miles Zuberbühler.

In 2022, the band recorded and released "Splitter", an EP in collaboration with post-rock band Umoora. Despite their half of the record only featuring 4 songs, their runtime add up to 24 minutes and 20 seconds.
Throughout the summer of 2024, wolfer put their debut single "Horses In My Head", along with "Carol", and "Your Glory" to promote "Hey, Lester!", an album they would eventually release on September 13 of the same year. Wrapping up at 41 minutes and 16 seconds, it is their first LP.

The band cites London-based noise rock band Part Chimp as an influence, as well as their singer and guitarist guiding them in their journey. Notable influences also include Kim Deal/The Breeders, Kim Gordon/Sonic Youth, and The Melvins.
