Infernal War
Black metal band from Czestochowa, Poland. Infernal War was formed in September 1997 by Paweł Pietrzak aka. Stormblast (drums) and Triumphator (guitar). After a year of looking for ideologically suitable people to complete the line-up, P. (vocals) and Arrur (bass) joined the band. At that time, the band operated under the name Quintus, which was soon changed to Infernal SS. In 2000, the band recorded a promo containing two songs. Soon after, Zyklon (guitar) joined, and the band's name was changed to Infernal War in 2002. Their lyrical themes are anti-religion, Satanism, death, hatred, anti-humanity, and war. The musical style is known for being aggressive by incorporating some elements from death metal like deep shouted vocals instead of typical high-pitched shrieks and down-tuned riffs.
According to Warcrimer, none of Infernal War's members was a full member of Honor (despite some session live help from time to time). This comment was made concerning Zyklon, Triumphator and Stormblast. Some of the members are also involved in bands like Iperyt and Voidhanger.
The band's (archived) website stated the following regarding NS accusations:
"INFERNAL WAR is the audial essence of pure inhuman terror, a soundtrack to genocide. The band stands for the extermination of weak and ignorant human masses, being neither a political band nor a NSBM band. INFERNAL WAR supports wars, genocides, murders and the total death of this beautiful modern world… Hail Satan!" "
