Iron Savior

Iron Savior is a German heavy metal and power metal band formed in Hamburg in 1996. The band was founded by multi-instrumentalist and producer Piet Sielck, who collaborated with former Helloween member Kai Hansen and Thomen Stauch, the then-drummer for Blind Guardian, to create a project that combined power metal with a science fiction narrative. The band's debut album, "Iron Savior," introduced a storyline featuring a self-aware space vessel called the Iron Savior and its connection to the legendary civilization of Atlantis.

Iron Savior's musical style has been compared to bands such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Queensrÿche. The involvement of Kai Hansen influenced the albums he participated in, adding elements reminiscent of Gamma Ray and Helloween.

Since forming, Iron Savior has released 15 studio albums, two EPs, three singles, and one live album. Despite multiple lineup changes, Piet Sielck has remained the primary creative force and is the only founding member still in the band.
